TechTalk #52: Bot Engines

Bot Engines is a collection of scrapy spiders for well-known software used in blogs, forums, comments systems and so on. You only have to worry about what to scrape and not the how! Let bot_engines take on the crawl logic. Even if it’s a custom site, bot_engines make it easy.

Built-in crawlers:

– Blog: Blogger, WordPress, VBBlog, Kinja

– Forum: BBPress, IPB, MyBB, phpBB, VBulletin, Xenforo, etc.

– Commenting system: BazaarVoice, Disqus, FB Comments, Gigya, Komento, Livefyre, Viafoura.
